The St. Cloud VA
Medical Center is a
premier facility
located in central
Minnesota. Each
year, the medical
center delivers care
to over 200,000
patients. Meyer
Contracting has a
long-standing
partnership with the
VA Hospitals as a
Government
Contractor. Meyer
Contracting, a
general contractor
in Minneapolis, was
asked to remodel the
entire 2nd floor
hospital wing. This
included a complete
new mechanical,
electrical, medical
gas and
communications
system. Meyer
Contracting was able
to identify
significant
opportunities for
the VA Hospital to
streamline work and
installation.
Special ventilation
was brought in to
minimize patient
disturbance while
renovations took
place. Work
performed included
asbestos abatement,
demolition of unique
clay tile walls,
installation of a
new HVAC system,
along with other
unique finished and
patient systems.
This project met
exact standards and
specifications
unique to the VA
System. |
