The St. Cloud VA Medical Center is a premier facility located in central Minnesota. Each year, the medical center delivers care to over 200,000 patients. Meyer Contracting has a long-standing partnership with the VA Hospitals as a Government Contractor. Meyer Contracting - a general contractor in Minneapolis - was asked to perform a multi-phased effort in Building 2 of the St. Cloud VA Medical Center Campus.

 The project was on a rapid phase cycle that entailed the completed improvements to be turned over on a defined timetable and returned to the VA for operational use in a very short period of time. All of this took place while the clinic continued its operations. The coordination for successful execution was a partnership of VA Facilities Management, Meyer Contracting, subcontractors, and indoor air quality contractors. The project included removal of asbestos in existing flooring and the installation of new replacement flooring.
