Name of Project:
Wilder Center
Location: St. Paul,
MN
Scope of Work: Site
Work and Utility
Installation
Now in its second
century of service,
the Wilder
Foundation is a
charity with the
vision of assisting
the most vulnerable
citizens in our
community –
including children,
elderly, poor and
those with physical
or mental health
issues. The Wilder
Foundation impacts
over 15,000
individuals in the
Twin Cities area
annually. As part of its
continued growth,
the foundation built
a new center in
order to improve
access to over
22,000 individuals.
The new four-story
center consisted of
a 100,000 square
foot building, and a
400 stall-parking
garage.
Meyer Contracting
performed all site
work – including
site remediation,
earth retention, and
soil corrections for
the building pads.
In addition, bracing
of existing
retaining wall
systems was required
and unique shoring
and anchoring
techniques were
used.
Meyer Contracting
performed all
excavation, utility
and storm sewer
installation for the
new office building
and the parking
structure. |
